Terms & Conditions
Cakes & other items: A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date. This booking deposit comes off your total, with remaining payment due two weeks before to allow for bank processing time.
The booking deposit is to be paid within 5 days upon booking.
You may place bookings well in advance. This is recommended for wedding & other elaborate cakes. Ordinarily we require 2 weeks to create your perfect cake, however if you need a cake sooner, just let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.
For wedding cakes Full payment is to be finalised 1 month prior to the wedding date. Cancellations within 4 weeks forfeit all payments previously made.
We do except date changes as long as that date is available. Please notify us ASAP of the date change please.
Any changes you make to your order will also be reviewed and your quote then may change.
Hire Items: Your booking will be confirmed upon receipt of a 50% deposit. The balance of payment (plus bond) is due 3 working days prior to the event. The deposit is fully refundable for cancellations up to 5 working days prior to the event. Should insufficient notice be given when cancelling a booking (i.e. less than 5 working days prior to the event date), the full deposit will be forfeited.
A $200 bond is payable for orders of $100 and over. For orders less than $100, a $100 bond is payable (bond monies are returned in the week following your event, once everything has been returned and accounted for). If there are any damages or breakages we will contact you within 48 hours after collecting and inspecting your items. Full replacement costs apply. If the replacement amount exceeds the security deposit, the hirer is liable to pay the additional charges.
Due to the delicate nature of the items, please do not wash or clean any of the items after use, as we will do this ourselves upon their return. All we ask is that you empty out any liquids and gently remove any crumbs. Items must NOT be put in the oven, dish washer or microwave. You can relax and enjoy your event, knowing we will care for all washing up.
As our items are vintage, they may show some slight wear & tear on patterns & gilding, but we take great care to ensure that all items hired will not be chipped or cracked.
Period of Hire – usually between 1-3 days, but we can discuss if a longer period required.
There is no minimum order.
Liability – Beautiful Crumbs will accept no responsibility for any injury or damage to any persons caused by items hired and we will accept no liability arising from any event involving or concerning hired items. Items are hired solely under the hirer’s responsibility.
Delivery & Pick-Ups
Cakes, Cupcakes, Cookies etc.: Free delivery to local area. Delivery to all other areas for a fee (price on application). Collection – You are welcome to collect items yourself from our premises at Burpengary by appointment only.
Hire Items: Delivery or collection available. Free delivery to the local area. Delivery to all other areas incurs a fee (price on application). Collection is from our premises at Burpengary and is by Appointment only.
Consultations & Taste Testing
Are available by appointment only. Please contact us to make arrangements.
We may be able to provide set-up for your event for an additional fee. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
